I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at Suwon General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $450. My current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $450 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $130 • Fitting and training sessions: $170 • First-year servicing plan: $150 Thanks for being kind about this.

Updates from Young-ho

  1. Thank you all. We're at 71% now ($320). I'm honestly stunned. we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.

  2. Quick update: $290 raised so far (64%). I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
