Waseem lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Lahore Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $450. His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Waseem could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $450 goes: • stair-climbing aid: $360 • Fitting and training sessions: $30 • Delivery and set-up: $20 • First-year servicing plan: $40 If you're reading this, thank you. - Fahad

  • So sorry you're going through this, Fahad. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. It's not much but it's yours

    • It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Lahore.

      • Rooting for you, Fahad. Shared it with a few friends. After 13 years in farming I know how hard it is to ask for anything.

        • Stay strong, Fahad. Wishing Waseem a smooth procedure and a full recovery. It's not much but it's yours. All the best.
