A stair-climbing aid for Salma: help Salma move freely
Help Salma get a stair-climbing aid so She can speak with the people around her.

Salma lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Casablanca Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,000.
Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Salma could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $830
• Fitting and training sessions: $70
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $75

Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We're a small family in Arusha but we're thinking of you. Blessings
