A stair-climbing aid for Colton: help Colton move freely
A stair-climbing aid would give Colton independence - we're $7,450 away.
🇨🇦 London, Ontario, Canada2,556 views
Colton lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at London General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $7,450.
His current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Colton could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $7,450 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $7,000
• Fitting and training sessions: $125
• Delivery and set-up: $70
• First-year servicing plan: $255
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Take care. Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of London
is there anything that isn't money that would help Colton?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about stair-climbing aid, advice is welcome too. Thanks for looking so closely.
So sorry you're going through this. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. It's not much but it's yours. Love from Thrissur
good luck, Adalynn. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
so sorry you're going through this, Adalynn. Hope you get there. My neighbor in Gondar donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
