A stair-climbing aid for Ana: help Ana move freely
Ana needs a stair-climbing aid that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,650.

Ana lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the La Plata Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,650.
Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Ana could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $60
• stair-climbing aid: $1,500
• First-year servicing plan: $90
Every share and every dollar helps.
