Ama lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Accra Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100. Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks. With the right equipment Ama could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $100 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $50 • Delivery and set-up: $15 • Fitting and training sessions: $35 Thank you so much.
