A specialist standing frame for Ubol: help me move freely
Ubol needs a specialist standing frame that the health system won't fund; the cost is $100.
🇹🇭 Bang Khen, Bangkok, Thailand1,054 views
I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at the Bang Khen Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $100 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• First-year servicing plan: $55
• Delivery and set-up: $10
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you and your family. Hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best
Wishing you the best, Ubol. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Please keep us posted.
Sending love, Ubol. Shared this with my family. I hope August is when things finally get easier. Love from Newcastle.
Rooting for you, Ubol. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Bang Khen!
Best of luck, Ubol. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't give up. Greetings from Naples.
