A specialist standing frame for Tshepo: help me move freely
Tshepo needs a specialist standing frame that the health system won't fund; the cost is $200.

I live with muscular dystrophy. My occupational therapist at Johannesburg General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $200.
My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $200 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $85
• Fitting and training sessions: $95
Thank you so much.

Good news. Because of your gifts ($63 in total) I made the first payment toward delivery and set-up. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
