Isaac lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at Los Angeles General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,900. His current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Isaac could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $3,900 goes: • specialist standing frame: $3,500 • Fitting and training sessions: $115 • Delivery and set-up: $120 • First-year servicing plan: $165 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Updates from Nicholas

  1. Quick update: $2,076 raised so far (53%). I made the first payment toward fitting and training sessions. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
