A specialist standing frame would give Consuelo independence - we're $3,000 away.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at the Iztapalapa Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,000.
My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• specialist standing frame: $2,800
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $40
• First-year servicing plan: $115
