Anika lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Dhaka Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $550.
Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Anika could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
