After leaving an abusive relationship, I'm temporarily without a home. I work as a hospital cleaner in Southampton and I have a steady income, but I can't find a place that will let me in without the first month, a deposit and references that I'm in the middle of replacing.
I'm looking for a spare room for 4 months. I can pay $320 a month toward bills, I'm tidy and quiet, and I'd be happy to help with cooking, shopping or yard work. I have no pets, I don't smoke, and I have three personal and work references.
I understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a big step. I'd be glad to meet in a public place first and to share my work details.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending love. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. We're a small family in Hyderabad but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
Take care, Aadhya. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Los Angeles!
Thinking of you and your family, Aadhya. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Lille
You're not alone, Aadhya. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
Thinking of you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
