A solar-powered water pump for the Union vacant lot: help our neighbors in Fresno
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $4,350 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $4,350.
It will serve about 135 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $4,350 goes:
• Materials: $3,400
• Permits and inspections: $350
• Safety equipment and signage: $220
• Tools hire and delivery: $380
I hope life is good to you.

Stay strong, Mia. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Greetings from Los Angeles.
I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Fresno.
