A solar-powered water pump for the old Liberty bus depot: help our neighbors in Cork
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $1,600 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Liberty bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,600.
It will serve about 225 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Materials: $960
• Permits and inspections: $125
• Safety equipment and signage: $250
• Tools hire and delivery: $265
