A solar-powered water pump for the Maple health centre yard: help our neighbors in Lahore

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $150. It will serve about 516 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $150 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $30 • Permits and inspections: $30 • Tools hire and delivery: $90 With deep gratitude, Naveed
