A solar-powered water pump for the Maple community hall: help our neighbors in Boston
A community-led a solar-powered water pump at the Maple community hall that will serve 484 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,950.
It will serve about 484 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
