A solar-powered water pump for the Lotus community hall: help our neighbors in San Nicolás de los Garza

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus community hall, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $600. It will serve about 463 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $600 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $90 • Safety equipment and signage: $80 • Materials: $430 Thanks for reading all this.
