A solar-powered water pump for the Harmony community hall: help our neighbors in Aurora
A community-led a solar-powered water pump at the Harmony community hall that will serve 411 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $3,150.
It will serve about 411 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,150 goes:
• Materials: $2,050
• Permits and inspections: $400
• Safety equipment and signage: $410
• Tools hire and delivery: $290
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

You're not alone, Karina. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Aurora
Good luck. Hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
Best of luck, Karina. Hope this works out for you. Thinking of Aurora
