A solar-powered water pump for the Cedar health centre yard: help our neighbors in Paris
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $2,800 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $2,800.
It will serve about 160 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $300
• Materials: $2,200
• Tools hire and delivery: $300

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. safety equipment and signage comes first ($300) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid.
