A solar-powered water pump for Pioneer Park: help our neighbors in 6th of October City

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Park, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $400. It will serve about 224 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $400 goes: • Materials: $230 • Permits and inspections: $25 • Safety equipment and signage: $50 • Tools hire and delivery: $95 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
