A solar-powered water pump for Cedar Primary School: help our neighbors in Victoria
Volunteers in Victoria are raising $1,650 for a solar-powered water pump at Cedar Primary School.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $1,650.
It will serve about 550 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Materials: $1,050
• Safety equipment and signage: $430
• Tools hire and delivery: $170
