A solar-powered water pump for Baobab Park: help our neighbors in Multan

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $100. It will serve about 582 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $100 goes: • Permits and inspections: $40 • Tools hire and delivery: $30 • Safety equipment and signage: $30 Glad we found this place. - Saad
