We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $3,250 for materials.

Santa Fe
For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Maple bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $3,250. It will serve about 162 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $3,250 goes: • Materials: $2,250 • Permits and inspections: $360 • Safety equipment and signage: $360 • Tools hire and delivery: $280 I hope life is good to you. - Noah
