A skate park for the Unity community hall: help our neighbors in Rohini

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity community hall, but no funding. We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $155, and the remaining cost is $300. It will serve about 108 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $300 goes: • Materials: $175 • Permits and inspections: $30 • Safety equipment and signage: $70 • Tools hire and delivery: $25 Thanks for being kind about this. - Shreya
