A skate park for the Union vacant lot: help our neighbors in Nizamabad
Volunteers in Nizamabad are raising $400 for a skate park at the Union vacant lot.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $80, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 227 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $400 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
• Materials: $300
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
