A skate park for the Pioneer health centre yard: help our neighbors in Odesa
A community-led a skate park at the Pioneer health centre yard that will serve 546 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 546 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $140

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. materials is the biggest at $370. Fair thing to want to know.
