A skate park for the old Pioneer bus depot: help our neighbors in Shinjuku
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $1,450 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Pioneer bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,450.
It will serve about 490 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Materials: $1,150
• Tools hire and delivery: $120
• Permits and inspections: $180
