A skate park for the old Cedar bus depot: help our neighbors in Madurai

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Cedar bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $170, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 433 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly.
