A skate park for Sycamore Primary School: help our neighbors in Gothenburg
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $2,550 for materials.
🇸🇪 41108, Gothenburg, Västra Götaland, Sweden1,006 views
For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,550.
It will serve about 327 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,550 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $350
• Permits and inspections: $350
• Materials: $1,850
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Great idea, hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Thane so I could bring a meal.
