A skate park for Maple Primary School: help our neighbors in Ciudad de México
Volunteers in Ciudad de México are raising $850 for a skate park at Maple Primary School.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $850.
It will serve about 102 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $850 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Materials: $700
• Permits and inspections: $90
