A skate park for Lotus Park: help our neighbors in Allentown
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $2,400 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Park, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,400.
It will serve about 383 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• Materials: $2,050
• Safety equipment and signage: $140
• Tools hire and delivery: $210
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
