A skate park for Jacaranda Primary School: help our neighbors in Calamba
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $400 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 218 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $400 goes:
• Materials: $165
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $75
• Tools hire and delivery: $120
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
