A skate park for Freedom Park: help our neighbors in Columbus
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $3,600 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Park, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $3,600.
It will serve about 461 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Materials: $2,900
• Permits and inspections: $270
• Safety equipment and signage: $160
• Tools hire and delivery: $270
