A skate park for Baobab Park: help our neighbors in Utrecht
Volunteers in Utrecht are raising $2,750 for a skate park at Baobab Park.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,750.
It will serve about 549 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Materials: $1,900
• Permits and inspections: $290
• Tools hire and delivery: $560
