A service dog for Wanjiru, a navy veteran in Eldoret
After four years of service, Wanjiru is raising funds for a trained service dog and handler course.

Kiprop served four years in the navy and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. He has been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote comes to $400.
Kiprop is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $400 goes:
• Essential household items: $95
• Transport to appointments: $90
• Housing deposit and first month: $215
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
