A service dog for Walker, a marines veteran in San Francisco
After ten years of service, Walker is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.
🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States938 views
Eleanor served ten years in the marines and was discharged in 2023 with a service-related knee injury. She has been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote comes to $3,150.
Eleanor is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $3,150 goes:
• Training provider fees: $2,050
• Essential household items: $600
• Transport to appointments: $500
With deep gratitude,
Walker

This helper is honest and transparent about what they can do. They didn't overpromise, but they did deliver excellent results. I would definitely trust them again.

So sorry you're going through this. Shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Hồ Chí Minh City this morning. God bless.
Wishing you peace, Walker. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless!
