A service dog for Verónica, an army veteran in Arlington
After four years of service, Verónica is raising funds for a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.
🇺🇸 United States2,392 views
Salvador served four years in the army and was discharged in 2023 with post-traumatic stress. He has been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote comes to $4,700.
Salvador is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $4,700 goes:
• Essential household items: $560
• Transport to appointments: $650
• Training provider fees: $3,490
With deep gratitude,
Verónica
