Latha served four years in the air force and was discharged in 2023 with hearing damage and PTSD. She has been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote comes to $500.
Latha is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $500 goes:
• Essential household items: $110
• Training provider fees: $240
• Housing deposit and first month: $150
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
