Oky needs a freezer and scales to reopen a fish stall
Oky has run a fish stall for fifteen years; a break-in destroyed the equipment, and $650 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a fish stall in Jakarta. In March, a break-in took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $650 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $370
• Initial stock: the first catch: $100
• Shop repairs and licensing: $50
• Working capital for the first month: $130
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

hope you make a strong comeback. Put this on a community board in Gulu this morning
stay strong. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Hope it all works out. Shared this with my family. After 13 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
it takes guts to ask. Well done. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Jakarta.
Take care, Oky. This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings!
Sending good thoughts. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Blessings.
