A service dog for Tahmina, an army veteran in Udaipur
Tahmina served ten years in the army; $600 would cover a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served ten years in the army and was discharged in 2024 with a service-related knee injury. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $600.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $600 goes:
• Training provider fees: $170
• Housing deposit and first month: $240
• Transport to appointments: $65
• Essential household items: $125
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Best of luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
Wishing you peace, Tahmina. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Udaipur
thinking of you, Tahmina. Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Rotterdam
