A service dog for Sade, an infantry veteran in Badagry
Sade served four years in the infantry; $550 would cover a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Nigeria644 views
Samuel served four years in the infantry and was discharged in 2023 with chronic tinnitus. He has been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote comes to $550.
Samuel is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $550 goes:
• Training provider fees: $370
• Essential household items: $70
• Housing deposit and first month: $110
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
