A service dog for Okechukwu, a navy veteran in Ikeja
Okechukwu served twelve years in the navy; $450 would cover a vocational welding course and tools.

I served twelve years in the navy and was discharged in 2023 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $450.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $450 goes:
• Training provider fees: $220
• Housing deposit and first month: $155
• Transport to appointments: $35
• Essential household items: $40
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
