Marilyn served fourteen years in the navy; $3,650 would cover a vocational welding course and tools.

I served fourteen years in the navy and was discharged in 2025 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $3,650.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $3,650 goes:
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,100
• Transport to appointments: $360
• Training provider fees: $2,190
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

You're not alone, Marilyn. Shared it with a few friends. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Los Angeles
Hope it all works out, Marilyn. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Take care
Praying for you, Marilyn. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Sending love, Marilyn. Looking forward to the next update. God bless.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Ho
