A service dog for Leni, an infantry veteran in Berlin
After six years of service, Leni is raising funds for a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served six years in the infantry and was discharged in 2024 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $3,550.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $3,550 goes:
• Training provider fees: $1,100
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,600
• Transport to appointments: $380
• Essential household items: $470
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Leni
sending good thoughts. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Berlin.
Thanks for sharing this. Looking forward to the next update. Don't give up. All the best
thinking of you and your family, Leni. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
