A service dog for Kunle, a navy veteran in Awka
After ten years of service, Kunle is raising funds for a trained service dog and handler course.

I served ten years in the navy and was discharged in 2023 with a service-related knee injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote I have comes to $650.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $650 goes:
• Training provider fees: $530
• Essential household items: $65
• Transport to appointments: $55
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
