Paris
I served twelve years in the army and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place. I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $2,850. I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces. I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing. Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly. Where the $2,850 goes: • Essential household items: $560 • Training provider fees: $2,100 • Transport to appointments: $190 Thanks for being kind about this. - Benoît

Hang in there, Benoît. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. All the best.
