A sensory garden for children with autism for the old Cedar bus depot: help our neighbors in Kinondoni
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $350 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Cedar bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 410 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $165
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $85
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

best of luck, Lucy. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Hang in there, Lucy. Shared it with a few friends. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
