A sensory garden for children with autism for the Liberty community hall: help our neighbors in Mumbai
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $500 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 470 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $380
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
