A sensory garden for children with autism for the Cedar community hall: help our neighbors in Lviv
Volunteers in Lviv are raising $900 for a sensory garden for children with autism at the Cedar community hall.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $900.
It will serve about 146 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $900 goes:
• Materials: $750
• Permits and inspections: $35
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $50
Thank you so much.

Sending good thoughts, Halyna. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Kassel so I could bring a meal. Blessings
