A sensory garden for children with autism for Sycamore Park: help our neighbors in Biratnagar
Volunteers in Biratnagar are raising $450 for a sensory garden for children with autism at Sycamore Park.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 82 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $330
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $20
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Keep going, Sushila. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Biratnagar
